Terms of Use
Last updated 27 October 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
These terms are between you and PSPF Services Ltd, a company registered in Cyprus ("we", "us"). By using PowerTopology you agree to them. If you do not, do not use it.
If you are using PowerTopology for an employer or a client, you confirm you may accept these terms on their behalf, and "you" means both of you.
2. What the service is
PowerTopology is a drawing tool for electrical single-line diagrams. It runs in your browser. Drawings are stored on your own device and are not uploaded to us.
PowerTopology is free to use today. We plan a paid tier, Pro, that adds further features, and later cloud projects and a Team tier. These are in development and are not on sale. What each includes will be set out on the pricing page, and we may change what is in each tier in line with section 10. Sections 5 and 6 apply only once a paid tier is on sale.
3. What it is not — read this one
PowerTopology draws what you tell it to draw and arranges it tidily. It is a drafting and documentation tool. It is not a calculation, verification or compliance tool, and in particular it does not:
- calculate fault levels, loading, voltage drop, discrimination or earth-fault loop impedance;
- perform protection coordination or check protective-device grading;
- size cables, breakers, transformers or any other equipment;
- check any drawing against IEC, EN, BS 7671, NEC or any other standard or code;
- verify that what you have drawn is safe, buildable, or matches the installation.
Any figure the software totals or displays — connected load, equipment counts, cable lengths — is arithmetic on the values you entered. It is not an engineering calculation and carries no assurance of correctness.
The engineer remains responsible. Every drawing produced with this software must be checked, verified and approved by a competent person before it is issued, built from, or relied on. Nothing the software does transfers any part of that responsibility to us.
4. Your account
An account is not needed to use the free service. It is needed for the paid tiers once they are on sale. You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email address, or with Google. Keep access to that email address secure: anybody who can read it can sign in as you. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used your account.
Give us an email address that works and is yours. One account is for one person. If you need several people to have access, that is what the Team tier is for.
5. Plans and payment
Paid tiers are subscriptions, billed in advance, monthly or yearly as you choose, in euro. Prices are shown on the pricing page and exclude VAT unless stated; VAT is added at checkout at the rate for your country.
Payment is taken by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's page and never reach us. By subscribing you authorise recurring payment of the fee until you cancel.
Renewal. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price then published, until cancelled. We will email you before any price change takes effect, at least 30 days beforehand, and you may cancel before it does.
Failed payment. If a renewal fails we retry for a short period, and your plan continues during those retries. If payment still cannot be taken, the subscription ends and the account returns to the free tier. Your drawings are on your own device and are unaffected.
6. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in the application. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the plan keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not refund part-periods.
If you are a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Because the service is made available to you immediately, you are asked at checkout to agree that performance begins at once and to acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once it has. If you have not been asked that, or did not agree, the 14-day right applies and we will refund you in full.
None of this affects rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
7. Your drawings stay yours
You own everything you draw, import or export. We claim no licence over it, we do not use it to improve anything, and we could not: it is on your device and we never receive it.
It follows that backing it up is yours to do. Export anything you cannot afford to lose. Clearing your browser's data, a private window, a reinstalled machine or a wiped profile will take unexported drawings with it, and we cannot recover them.
8. What stays ours
The software, its name, its design and its documentation are ours and are protected by copyright. Your subscription buys the right to use it, not a transfer of it. Do not copy, resell, rent out or redistribute the software itself, and do not remove the notices in it. Third-party components are used under the licences recorded in the THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES file, which those licences continue to govern.
9. Acceptable use
Do not: break the law with it; attempt to defeat the limits on the free tier or get paid features without paying; attack, overload or probe the service; attempt to reach accounts or data that are not yours; or republish the software as your own.
10. Availability and changes
The application runs in your browser and keeps working offline, so a problem on our side does not usually stop you drawing. We do not promise any particular level of uptime for the parts that are on our side — sign-in and billing.
We may add, change or withdraw features. If we withdraw something material from a tier you pay for, you may cancel and we will refund the unused part of the period.
11. Warranties and liability
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, it is provided as is: we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose of yours.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including, if you are a consumer, your statutory rights.
Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, contracts, goodwill, anticipated savings, or for indirect or consequential loss;
- we are not liable for loss of data stored on your own device, including drawings you did not export;
- we are not liable for any decision taken, design issued, or work carried out on the basis of a drawing produced with the software — see section 3;
- our total liability arising out of this agreement is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
12. Ending the agreement
You may stop using the service at any time, and cancel any subscription as set out in section 6. We may suspend or end your account if you materially break these terms and do not put it right within 14 days of us asking, or immediately if the law requires it. If we end your account without cause we will refund the unused part of the period.
Ending the agreement does not touch your drawings. They are on your device.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus, and the courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of your own country and may bring proceedings there. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
14. General
These terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about the service. If any part is unenforceable the rest stands. Not enforcing something straight away does not waive it. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent; we may transfer it to a company that takes over this business, on notice to you.
We may update these terms. For material changes we will email account holders at least 30 days beforehand, and you may cancel before they take effect.
