Power topology diagrams · Industrial power streams

Import your cable schedule. PowerTopology works out the topology.

Create electrical power topology diagrams directly in your browser. Import your existing data, arrange the equipment, connect the feeders and understand the system from one drawing.

Nothing is uploaded to the cloud. Your drawings stay in your browser.

Product

One topology. Everything connected.

PowerTopology keeps the drawing, equipment data, feeders and cable schedule together. Change the topology once and the information stays in sync.

Arrange

Place equipment on voltage levels and PowerTopology keeps the drawing organised.

Check

Find unsupplied equipment, overloaded equipment, duplicate tags and other issues directly on the drawing.

Understand

Trace where equipment is supplied from and see what happens when a source is lost.

Issue

Export the drawing and its engineering data as PDF, SVG, PNG, XLSX, CSV or JSON.

Energisation

See what's live.

Mark equipment as energised, de-energised, isolated or faulty. PowerTopology uses the topology to show what is affected downstream.

If a source is de-energised, PowerTopology follows the topology and shows which downstream equipment loses supply. Dual-fed and generator-backed equipment remains supplied when an alternative source is available.

  • The status you set stays yours — downstream items are shown as De-energised — no supply, not restamped.
  • Cable installation is tracked separately: not pulled, pulled, terminated, tested, energised.
  • Each status records who set it and when.
Drawing and data

Drawing and schedules stay together

Your topology, equipment register and cable schedule use the same project data.

Export the drawing as SVG, PNG or PDF, or export the engineering data as XLSX, CSV or JSON.

  • Import a spreadsheet with an equipment sheet and a cable or feeder sheet to build the drawing.
  • Revisions, title block and legend on the sheet.
  • Merging an external cable schedule into an existing drawing arrives with Pro.
Features

Features

Equipment catalogue

Switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators, motors, chillers and more.

Automatic topology

Place equipment and feeders on the drawing. Levels, rows and connections stay organised.

Energisation model

Switch off a source and see which downstream equipment loses supply.

Checks

Find topology and engineering issues directly on the sheet.

Cable schedules PRO · PLANNED

Merge an engineering cable schedule into an existing drawing. Available with the Pro release. Today, a workbook with an equipment sheet and a cable sheet builds a drawing from scratch.

Exports

PDF, SVG, PNG, XLSX, CSV and JSON.

Getting started

How it works

01

Open the studio

Start blank, use a template or import an existing project.

02

Build the topology

Place equipment and connect feeders.

03

Check the system

Trace supplies, review checks and see what happens when a source is lost.

04

Issue the drawing

Export the drawing and engineering data in the format you need.

Use cases

Who uses PowerTopology

Design & consulting engineers

Sketch distribution options, check loading and trace the supply path before issuing a design.

Commissioning & handover

Track energisation and cable installation against the actual topology.

Data centres & critical facilities

Show the complete electrical topology in one drawing and test what happens when a source is lost. The same topology is used to understand redundancy and downstream impact.

Maintenance & operations

Understand what feeds an item and what will be affected before an isolation.

Local-first

Runs in your browser

Your drawings are saved locally in your browser. There is no upload step and nothing needs to be stored on a project server.

  • Autosave
  • Works offline
  • Export your project as JSON
  • Share a drawing without giving access to your original
